You’d imagine that’s what would happen if a large needle was making its way towards your precious vein.
Not me, not anymore.
This was my fourth time donating blood. My first time in over a year. I was afraid to donate since I almost fainted at my last donation…( first time in my life that I’ve been close to fainting I may add)
I love donating blood. That’s a strange statement, yet it’s amazing to think that 470ml of your blood is going towards saving someone’s life. Think about what you would do if you knew someone who was sick and needed a transfusion, what wouldn’t you do to help them?
It’s a selfless, simple act that could drastically change a persons quality of life.
I am hoping to donate up my donations to 10 by the end of 2013!
